The hallmark of Campus Partners’ work has been a market-based strategy which relies on community planning, a comprehensive approach to neighborhood renewal, partnerships among the major stakeholders and strategic projects that leverage private investment and change underlying conditions in the neighborhoods.

Our Mission

Our mission is to revitalize distressed neighborhoods within the University District of Columbus, Ohio. We work to improve the quality of life for students, faculty, staff, residents and business owners throughout the university community and thereby, reinforce the stature of The Ohio State University as one of the world’s great public research and teaching universities. For an overview of our work, watch the short video that WOSU put together in November of 2010.

Our Goals and Objectives

By working together with the community, The Ohio State University, the City of Columbus and countless other neighborhood organizations, Campus Partners' hopes to achieve:

  • Focus on community-based planning
  • Emphasis on market-based revitalization
  • Focus on long-term results
