Gateway Film Center Awarded a $100,000 Campus Partners Grant

Gateway Film Center has been awarded with a $100,000 asset management grant from Campus Partners. Gateway Film Center, a tenant of Gateway - University District for nearly two decades, is a nationally recognized non-profit cinema which screens films from around the world for the Columbus community. The grant focuses on providing assistance for the film center towards its capital expenditures as well as preventative and emergency maintenance for its facilities.

Campus Partners has long supported the Gateway Film Center’s mission since it was organized as a non-profit arts organization in 2014. This transformation under its current leadership, along with an ongoing partnership with Campus Partners, has allowed for new program opportunities to further achieve success in its mission of showing films from around the world to their community. Gateway Film Center has been an important cultural component of the University District, not only as an anchor tenant to Gateway – University District, but through its contributions to the art community of Columbus.

The grant assists the film center in making strategic investments into their space in order to sustain their operations and pragmatic goals. The Gateway Film Center has planned to utilize these funds towards upgrades to their heating, cooling systems, and projectors.
