South of Gateway

South of Gateway

Project Summary

Campus Partners purchased land south of the existing Gateway project for new housing in the Weinland Park neighborhood. The goal was to develop a mix of housing opportunities including student, non-student, and affordable options at a density that was supported by its adjacency to Gateway and the transit-oriented High Street corridor. The project helped close the gap between the Short North neighborhood to the south and The Ohio State University campus by creating pedestrian friendly buildings on High Street with street activation. Campus Partners provided land acquisition and secured development rights. Individual projects were then developed by others.
